Testimonials from Happy Wildside Fans

I've been buying your salmon treats for my cat - you've shipped them to me - and she's addicted. My daughter in law is very creative and took the empty bags and made me a tote. I love it and, needless to say, so does the cat.

Thanks for a great product!

Dear Wild Side Salmon,

I have been purchasing and feeding my 3 wonderful cats (1 age 7 and 2--litter mates--age 2) Wild Side Salmon (WSS) products for over a year now. All three of them enjoy these products with great enthusiasm. In fact I have to hide the package in a spot they can't get to or else they would be gobbling it up--packing and all!--without compunction. So I rationed the treats out (3-4 small "cat sized" treat pieces a day). In fact it's their version of "milk and cookies" before bed.

But as I did so, and realized how much they enjoyed this seemingly healthful, nutritious snack treat, I became concerned. With all the press concerning certain risks in Chinese comestibles (especially for pets). So I checked out the Wild Side web site and was greatly relieved to learn that none of the ingredients were actually of Chinese origin. Rather, the salmon was Alaskan but the processing occurred in China for economic and quality reason.

Now, I myself consume food products made in China, including produce, but always with a bit of apprehension. I do not believe that just because something is of Chinese origin that it is inherently bad or inferior, but given the history of Chinese manufacturing, there is plenty of cause for concern. So it was with considerable relieve that I read about your company's efforts to maintain purity and quality standards for your pet grade food products. I want my pets to enjoy their food and treats, but I also want these items to be well made and of impeccable quality. Apparently, WIld Side dog and cat products meet or exceed my expectations.

Thus, I look forward to continuing to purchase WIld Side Pet Products, feeling confident that what I am giving my little darlings is both nutritious and healthful.

By the way, I'd be interested in learning about new products WSS may develop, particularly for cats. Although I am very fond of dogs, at this time in my life, cats are my preferred pets. So please keep me posted of any new developments in the "cat department".

But I have friends and relatives who enjoy the lively companionship of dogs, so I'm also interested in hearing about what WSS comes up with in the "dog department".How wonderful to know that a company like yours is around and thriving. Keep up the good work. And by all means, add me to any mailing list you may have so that I stay abreast of updates and developments in both areas.

Hi Rich,

Wow, what a great day on Sunday! I just wanted to personally thank you and your team for the great support you provided. In addition to getting there early to help us greet the sun, I understand your water came in very handy! The dogs thank you for that.

Thanks again for your generosity, great support and the fun that Wildside brought to the event. I hope you met plenty of great dogs and new customers!

Have you and Debbie ever been on a tour of Seattle Humane Society? If you’re interested, I’d love to show you behind the scenes.

Thanks again for being such a great friend to Seattle Humane Society.

Best,
Brynn

Hi there,

I have been feeding my cats Wildside Salmon treats since 2004. That was the first time I purchased a bag of the treats at the Pasadena Rose Bowl during a pet product fair--the box design was cute and so caught my eye. My cat Chester was addicted from the first treat, and then my cat Penza got addicted, too (her appetite is not so good so she was able to "smell" the treat better after it was crumbled and then got addicted). Chester loves them so much he'd basically eat them as a meal, which he has done when I've accidentally left the bag out on the table and he's knocked it to the ground to get at all the treats ;-) --he'll even lick up all the powder. But I always feel good about feeding them these treats, which I know are healthy for them because the treats are pure salmon, rather than what's the equivalent of junk food that is sold at most pet stores.

I started ordering the enviro pouches a few years back since the boxes are not necessary for my use and the kitties go thru them pretty quickly (for two cats). The treats are a great training tool (e.g., bribes) to get them to do what you want. So I've literally got Chester dancing for his treats, standing up on his hind legs and reaching for them. And when he hears me say, "treat treat" he runs right up to me because he knows it's time for his treats. It's cute and pathetic at the same time how much he loves his treats because he will do anything for them...

Finally, the customer service and Rich, the owner, are great. They are responsive to any questions you might have, shipping is always fast, and he's always been so sweet and patient with my mother, who's the one who usually orders them.

Definitely my cats and I (and my mom) are customers for life. This is an amazing, healthy product for my kitties, and since I do want them to live a happy long life, I will always feed them their special treats. I hope that more people will try out your products for cats and dogs because they are great.Sincerely,

Esther
